The celebrating is over. The gathering is complete. The food is mostly eaten. Leftovers remain in the refrigerator. The eggs have all be found. The candy is put away. Easter is over.
The Resurrection is still real. Jesus is alive! He raised from the dead and is alive. He appears to the disciples and Mary Magdalene and the women at the tomb, and a crowd of 500 (1 Corinthians 15:6,7).
"He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself," (Luke 24:25-27 NIV).
"Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in the book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name," (John 20:30-31 NIV).
Blessed is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is risen from the dead! Hallelujah! May we keep singing His praises as we move through our week. Jesus is alive!
